What to Expect
Ninety minutes, about a mile, and a guide who is not going to soften anything. Here is everything worth knowing before Friday or Saturday at 9 PM.
Check-in at Wheeler Park
We meet at the Wheeler Park Parking Lot, 212 W Aspen Ave, Flagstaff, AZ 86001. Look for your Southwestern Gothic-dressed guide by the parking meter between City Hall and Wheeler Park. There is metered and free parking nearby. Please arrive 15 minutes early so check-in is easy, and make sure every guest on your reservation has signed their waiver ahead of time; the link comes with your booking confirmation.
The walk
You'll cover about 1 mile on downtown city sidewalks at an easy pace over 90 minutes, with long stops for the stories. You'll stop near landmarks like the Hotel Monte Vista, the Weatherford, and the Orpheum Theater. We don't enter buildings, but trust us, the stories hit harder from the street.
18 and older, no exceptions
This tour deals with murder, suicide, and material we handle honestly rather than softly. Every guest on the reservation must be 18 or older. Bringing a mixed-age group to town? The all-ages original tour runs nightly at 7 PM.
Dress for 7,000 feet
Flagstaff sits at 7,000 feet, so hydration matters and the weather shifts fast. Wear comfortable walking shoes, bring a water bottle, check the forecast for the tour's end time, and dress in layers; it can be cold even in summer. Locals love layers. Charge your phone if you want photos at the haunted landmarks.
Tickets and timing
Friday and Saturday nights at 9 PM, year-round. Adults $39, students $35 when you book direct. We cap the tour at 28 guests so everyone can hear the guide. Full refund 72 or more hours out, 50 percent between 24 and 72 hours, none under 24 hours.
